Danro

Industries · Restaurant

A restaurant website — menu, table reservations and opening hours that are always right.

Guests decide where to eat on their phones: they check the menu, the prices, the opening hours and whether there’s a table. If your menu is a blurry PDF from last year, they go somewhere else.

Why it matters

What should a website for restaurants do?

A restaurant’s website is used on a phone, often just a few hours before the guest decides. They want to see the menu, the prices, the opening hours and whether there’s a table. It has to be quick.

The biggest mistake is a PDF menu. It’s hard to read on mobile, and Google can’t use it to match you with searches like “brunch” or “gluten-free”. With Danro, the menu is text you edit yourself — with allergens.

On top of that, the site has to sell the atmosphere: big photos, a short story about the kitchen, and pages for private parties and events, which are often the most profitable bookings.

Sound familiar?

01

The menu is an old PDF

It’s hard to read on a phone, Google can’t read it, and it’s out of date. Every change means someone has to make a new file.

02

The opening hours are wrong

Public holidays, summer vacation and private events. Wrong opening hours online lead to disappointed guests and bad reviews.

03

Reservations come by phone during the rush

The phone rings while the kitchen is slammed. Guests who can’t get through book with the place next door.

What you get

Built for restaurants, not for everyone.

The features are chosen based on what customers of restaurants actually look for. You edit your own text and images in our intuitive CMS.

Your menu as real text

Dishes, prices and allergens directly in the CMS. Readable on mobile, understandable to Google and changed in a moment.

Table reservations

Through the booking calendar or your existing reservation system, with a clear button on every page.

Special hours and closures

Add holidays and vacations in the CMS, and they show up both on the site and in the structured data Google reads.

Events, private parties and gift cards

Pages for tasting menus, holiday parties and private events. Gift cards can be sold with the Webshop plan.

Google needs to be able to read your menu

When someone searches “brunch Randers” or “gluten-free restaurant Aarhus”, Google matches the search with the content on restaurant websites. A menu in a PDF or an image barely counts. A menu in text does.

The site also gets Restaurant structured data with opening hours, cuisine and price range, so the details can appear directly in search results.

Atmosphere sells

Big photos of the dishes and the dining room, a short story about the kitchen and the people behind it. That’s what makes a guest choose you over a chain.
